Doesn't matter who provoked who, what was said to whom from whom. YOU DO NOT 
ATTACK ANOTHER PERSON whether spitting or physical. We must have some 
restraint. Alomar should have let it blow over and then filed a protest with 
the league. It the ump was rude and ueccessarly provoking Alomar there would 
have been plenty of witnesses. It turns my stomach to think that young people
(kids) get to see this. It must be ok in real life to, right? We are telling 
these kids that the almighty dollar or winning is much more important than 
morals, what is right and correct. It was awful act that should have been 
dealt with more sternnest and quicknessRegardless of any rule on the 
books. This was disgusting and should have been dealt with in a way to let
the kids know this type of action in life is totally unacceptable, period!
