  BB> moveMessageFromScreen;...Any suggestions ?
Build a form with the message you wants to display. Create a method
for this form like this:
procedure TForm1.DoTheJob;
begin
    Show;
    OpenTheFiles;
    CopyTheFiles;
    CloseTheFiles;
    Close;
end;
Then from another form, call Form1.DoTheJob.
In the Open, Copy and Close procedure, you can update the Form1
message (put some labels on the form, don't forget to call
Label1.Update to update the screen. During the processing, do'nt
forget to call Application.processMessages often enough to let other
applications run smootly.
