I still use vinyl for DJ work, and NOT for "scratching" either!  I specialize
in late 50's, early 60's "sock hops" and a lot of the music I play just
isn't available on CD.  In fact, some of the surface noise adds "charm"
and "nostalgia" to the music, my customers actually LIKE that I'm using
the original 45's. :-)
