This notice for anyone within a few hours drive of Washington DC.
       
     On Saturday November 23 the Animation Art Collector's Club of Washington 
will be holding its 9th Annual FREE Animation Art Show and Sale.  Last year 
we had 46 tables with exhibitors from as far North as Connecticut and as far 
South as South Carolina. As of last week all but three tables were sold. 
     The show is over 90% Animation Art.  This includes
production, limited  edition, and seri cels.  It also includes drawings, 
backgrounds, lithos, prints and other artwork.  Less than 10% is books, 
jewelry, and related items.  There are no toys, games, or plush. 
     Close to 50% of the items are Disney.  There will be at least two 
animators present and a raffle for various
items (unknown at this time, but in the past the raffle has included cels, 
books, glasses set, and other items).  Also there will be speakers. 
     The show is open to the public from 10:00 to 4:00.  It will be at the 
Howard Johnson Hotel, 5821 Richmond Highway,
Alexandria, Virginia.  This is at the Southeast corner of the intersection of 
US-1 and the Capital Beltway (I- 95/I-495).  This is the first interchange 
coming from Maryland, or the last interchange on your way out of Virginia 
headed North on I-95.
