DIFFs are not handled at all.  Nodelists are tiny, and the transfer is free, so
the the entire purpose of a DIFF has become unnecessary over time.  This is why
Mystic just imports entire nodelists.

Maybe I'd add DIFF processing in the future but as always I have a list of
things to do that I consider to be more important first.

You can use a 3rd party DIFF processor if you really think its needed.  I
would imagine there are a million of them from the 90s.
