I attended a Major League Umpiring School in Jan. of 1996 and will be attending again in hopes to make it to the Majors some day. I have umpired High School, babe Ruth and Legion baseball. I threw a high school coach out of a game this year for showing me up(he was showing with hands) I asked him to stop and he told me to f*** off..... after the game was over, he told my boss I was swearing at him.....I never once used obsence words toward him. Down at the Major League Umpiring School I learned that most coaches and player's never take the blame but place the blame on others, such as umpires...... The Major League Umpiries I meet down at the school were very nice..........Umpires are only human and do make mistakes......how many player's sign autographs for kids and take the time out tospend time with others? well, the major league umpires signed for kids down in Florida for nothing.......... they are very nice people........I am sick and tired of people bashing umpires like they are animals.......
