It's been a good week in politics, hasn't it, Otto?

1.  Obama, who was dispatched by a grateful nation to rescue us from the
ravages of GW Bush, has decided that, well, maybe the Bush'Cheney military
tribunals aen't so bad after all.  You may recall that the Annointed One
campaigned to end the tribunals, close Guantanamo Bay on "day one," and end
the war in Iraq.  He's 0 for 3.  Bush Lite.

2.  The Annointed One flip flopped on his pledge to release CIA photos of
harsh interrogation.  He didn't say why, but I imagine the Divine O got a
call from Leon Panetta, whose agency has already been demoralized by this
scummy bunch of incompetents in the White House.

3.  Speaking of Panetta, Madam Speaker Pelosi is smarting from the release
of a CIA memo from the Director himself declaring that, yes, she DID receive
a detailed briefing on enhanced interrogation methods - including
waterboarding.  The only way this bug-eyed broad can acquit herself of lying
to Congress is to convict Panetta of lying to Congress.  Good luck with
*that*, Madam Facelift.

4.  One more on Madam Speaker - during a rambling press conference, Pelosi
gets lost in her notes, and has trouble finding whatever "truth" it was she
was trying to sell that day.  "It's, no wait, it's on another, uh, page, uh,
let me find the right page, uh...."  She made a fool of herself.

5.  Dick Cheney makes his rounds on the talk shows offering pointed,
specific criticisms of the half wits who are running the Oval Office.
Compare Cheney's sober, reflective comments to Al Gore's spit-spewing rages
directed at George Bush.  "HE LIED TO US!!!  HE MISLED US INTO WAR!!!!"
Yeah, he misled us with the same words your impeached scumbag of a boss
used.

6.  You may recall the spit-spewing rants in these echoes when it came out
that Jack Abramoff gave some money to Republicans (these ranters were silent
on the fact that he also gave money to democrats).  Now, these ranters are
silent about Norman Hsu, the corrupt wheeler dealer who gave money ONLY to
democrats - especially to the wife of the aforementioned impeached scumbag.

7.  The New York Times, official house organ of the Obama regime, continues
to hemorrhage money - much of it borrowed from some Mexican loan shark.
When the Times defaults on its debts, said loan shark will get a voting seat
on the board and fire Pinch Sulzberger and Bill Keller.  Look for Rupert
Murdoch to end up owning the Times.

8.  The budget deficit this year will be $1.8 trillion.  Trilloin with a T.
