Hello Jonathan!

Monday February 17 1997, Jonathan de Boyne Pollard writes to Gerard Gerritsen:

JdBP> It looks like when you converted SBPM.EXE to SBPM.DLL you forgot to
JdBP> convert all of the module parameters to the WinLoadDlg and suchlike

No I took care of that one, using DosQueryModuleHandle to be on the safe side.

JdBP> resources _are_ in the current EXE. When the SBPM code and resources
JdBP> are compiled into a DLL, the WinLoadDlg calls fail, since the resources
JdBP> are no longer in the current EXE but in the DLL instead.

But why can I load some resources without problem ( that were not loaded
into the resource part of the executable but only of the dll ( ran RC a few
times to make it sure )

Loading the resources using DosLoadResource and WinDrawDlg worked until the
WinDrawDlg part kicked in. Though the main SBPM/2 screens could be loaded
and drawn without a problem, a settings dialog somehow refused to work.

It also did not work on Warp 3.0
