Well I finally got me a better antenna for my Radio Shack DX-350 SW/LW/AM/FM 
radio. It's listed as "Portable Shortwave-Listening Antenna". The antenna is 
23 ft long and is encased in a casing that reminds me of a tape measure. And 
the antenna clips on the rod antenna that is on the DX-350. Let me tell 
you...it definitely improves the reception. I extended it all the way and 
hung it on top of my door and I was impressed. It even improved reception on 
the AM and FM bands. Whoever suggested that I get one (it was months ago, so 
I don't remember the name), thank you.
