It solves a lotta problems.  The question of the Big Bang becomes 
moot, as what they are then arguing about is what the universe and 
the world *appears* to have been. 
 
If we live on a holodeck, then like any computer generated virtual 
reality, it has a standard pixel size, or fundamental integer that 
everthing else is projected onto- or into, as we are talking here 
about a projection into three dimensions.
