You don't need that much if you don't intend to have big piles of files for

Me,  the very thought of using them for that stuff puts a bad taste in my
mouth.  The phone company!  Yuck!  :-)

I remember reading that it's available on darn near *any* linux/unix
system, in one form or another.  There's that...

Backups are good.  Hopefully I'll be able to make some progress in that
regard fairly soon...
