Actually Bundy was convicted on forensic evidence, to be sure, but it
wasn't DNA (they weren't yet accepting it as provable evidence yet. He was
convicted because of a bite mark on the butt of his youngest (known)
victim. A guy like Bundy, I doubt we'll ever know just how many girls he
actually did kill. It's not as if he confessed to any of them. Ann Rule
(famed true crime author) got her start in true crime by working on the
same emergency hot line as Bundy. Her book The Stranger Beside Me is a
fascinating telling of his tale, I recommend it highly. :)
