So what would be the difference between an Optiputz and a Dimented 3000
with the same specs except for maybe a razzle-dazzle case? If Dell puts
crap in the consumer line, then they should go bankrupt in my opinion.
The only other thing I can think of is maybe a different service
contract for business than consumer?

I know it's not for everyone, but I built my last three computers on my
own. It's not hard, read the instructions that come with everything
completely once or twice, then refer to it often, watch for sharp edges
in a cheap case, plug in everything in the right place (it's pretty
much all marked and/or indexed), fire it up and install ECS on it!
OK so there's no service contract or labor warrenty, but it can be a
lot of fun and rewarding! And I believe one can end up with a better
product for less.

Well I know not everyone is a computer builder, just as I am not a
programmer. :-)
