The phone company in Saskatchewan is offering ADSL in some places. The
company is a Sympatico site, and they offer normal internet access for 24.95
for 60 hours. You can get ADSL for $70 a month, unlimited time. I believe you
get a dedicated IP address too.
I believe there's something like $100 installation fee, and you have to
provide your own Ethernet network card. They supply the ADSL modem. I think
it's pretty reasonable for the bandwidth that you get. It's 1.5 MB/s down and
a 56k backchannel.
