Gerry,
My problem was not the setup. My problem was that another server (not
online) had QUEUED items to retrieve new news.
The symptom:
When I asked for the RSJ server to refresh groups, it indicated that the
server setting didn't have a DNS available. This message was missleading
at best.
Once I "killed" all the other queued tasks (for the other news server that
was offline), I could then request the RSJ server to refresh groups.
All of these problems and tasks were done while the RSJ server was ONLINE.
I am now able to get access to the RSJ news articles.
Thanks very much for your, and everyone else's help on this. I appreciate
the help.
Regards,
-Mark
