It has two slots that cover the six cards it can read, so two devices.
I have BASEDEV=USBMSD.ADD /REMOVABLES:3 /V
This covers the two devices and one more. It works with the external
hard drive, and as  I noted, the camera showed up in LVM. It's most
likely a non-standard interface.
