The only law against Mormons marrying was the Edmond-Tucker act of 1890
that made plural marriage illegal.

You really should retake English composition.

Marriage isn't a legal issue. Marriage is between a man and a woman. There
are legal means for gays to set up households and share wealth. There is no
real need for them to marry each other, other than to force the rest of
society to accept their perverted lifestyles.

That isn't "narrow" that's called a clear majority. It's about
the same margin Obama won by.
