A mate of mine can not believe that the Israelis & Yanks have walked
into such a trap.

Were Hezbolloah to fold into the Lebanese army, they would be the Lebanese
army. So then the Israelis would have Hezbollah still on their border,
except now it would be a sovereign state force & could go & buy/be
given SAMS, Cruise, etc.

& were Israel to "violate Lebanese sovereignty" e.g a patrol
boat up the
coast or an F15 over Tyre then.....given the Israeli example....
