 That is part of it. Moslty as it concerns the CPU power Required. but
also rembember that DVD burn speeds are still very slow compaired to CD
burn speeds nowdays. 

But SCSI CD drives are disapperaing fast. I think Plextor and HP both
have dropped their SCSI CD-RW drives. Although in this day of 2.7 GIG
plus CPU's I guess it dosne't make much difference.
