I think you've been listening to rumors and proproganda. I have the Nov
96 issue in front of me, and I see no mention anywhere of any free
offers. I have a "free" copy of WP7 Beta 3 on CD-ROM I got last Summer,
but the expiration date was Jul 31, 1996. Perhaps your friend picked up
the Nov 95 issue of WP Magazine, where the Editor's Comment page tells
about the "Free Upgrade". Sorry mate, but you're about a year late for
that one.
