  Thanks for not trashing the VF series... it IS a good series, just not for 
the total hard-core fighter.  Something I admire in it (beyond always being 
the best-looking game for its time) is that you can quite easily avoid a 
button-mashing fight, which happens all-too-easily with the SF series.
  You're right about the SF combos though.  Before the Alpha series, it was 
basically special moves that won the day.
PS Something that's kind of odd... since there's an SF Alpha 2, shouldn't it 
be
SF Beta?  :-)
