thats kinda strange! the fidoconf and htick and smapi packages did
install.
only the hpt package would not :(

At the moment my winxp is running the server here, but I would like
to move stuff to edubuntu or kubuntu.
I have both installed on different machines one uses a gnome desktop
the other a KDE one.
