| subject: | [OS2HW] New Info on Epson C84 Question...! |
I can run my Epson C86 under eCS with the EPOMNI5.C80 driver and under
WIN2K with another driver. I was able to realign the print heads using
the maintenance menu under Windows to get rid of an annoying vertical
line, but I cannot do so in eCS 1.2! Under eCS when I invoke the head
alignment program and click on PRINT, the printer does not print a test
page, it justs ejects the page. Has anyone else seen this behavior?
And I figured out that the alignment program probably does not change
anything in the printer, it stores alignment info in software (ini,
registry?) to use when it prints. Can I extract these corrections from
the Windows version and insert them into eCS?
