I have been very lucky in my new TBR books recently, I went to Magna Cum
Murder in Muncie, Indiana, and met LOTS of authors. One that I had been
talking with on DorothyL, Penny Warner (author of Dead Body Language)
has since sent me a xerox copy of the uinbound galleys of her next book,
I love her character, Connor Wetsphel, a deaf newspaperwoman.
I also was given an ARC of the next Michael Connelly, "Blood Work", due
out in March 1998. Can't wait to get into that one, it is not part of
his Bosch series, but a stand-alone about an ex-FBI agent who gets a
heart transplant from a murder victim. When he discovers there are no
suspects in the murder, he takes on the case himself.
And lastly, I got an ARC of the January release, "The Moor", by Laurie
King, the next in her Mary Russell series.
Leave me alone now, I'm reading....
