I don't think the CIA recruited Bin Laden to go after Americans.
He's used his training the same way an ex military explosives expert
might use his training to blow up schools and churches.

And as I understand it, Yes, the bum is liable for the death penalty
as much as the person who hired him. Usually the 'hit man' gets a
lighter sentence making a deal to turn in the person who hired him.
