 Here in the U.S., too! In fact, Memorex had a special promotion (a rebate)
 last fall, and I got 40 blank CD-R discs for /free/!
 A local store had them on sale as a "loss leader", 10-packs for $30. The
 rebate was $30, with a limit of two per household. So I bought 2 10-packs,
 and my wife bought another two, and I put my sister's address on the rebate
 for the 2nd two 10-packs..  ;-)
 Of course nothing is ever truly free, but even counting sales tax and the
 two postage stamps, the real cost was well under 25 cents per disc!
