I got one 50-ft network cable, and ended up acquiring (with a bunch of other junk) a 25-ft cable later on. So far I haven't had to use either of them. Got a 50-ft parallel printer cable, too, come to think of it. Or maybe that's a 25-ft. Way longer than the usual ones, anyhow. Also got a 16-port hub, and only ports 1-5 are in use so far, though I have plans for several more machines. Too bad it's only 10MB, but the price was right (free). Radio shack makes a nice set of brackets for this purpose. These are not what you could call small speakers, either -- each cabinet is a couple of feet tall, at least. RT> I remember, You don't happen to remember what I figured out, do you? :-) Right now I have the dual cassette deck plugged into the sound card's line in jack. I'm thinking that perhaps I can try feeding the turntable into the tape deck's inputs, see how it likes that... Once I have some place in here to PUT the darn thing, that is! Got the hardware part of it done, anyhow. RT> This should be interesting. RT> definitely. :-)) Yep. We'll see how it goes, from here. Think gramofile will deal with a cassette tape? :-) ---* Origin: TANSTAAFL BBS 717-838-8539 (1:270/615) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 270/615 150/220 379/1 633/267 |
