This is Pascal, and I have the Range checking ON. I tried that :-)
as a general rule, all checking is ON in the debug version. In the final
version, I switch of local symbol and all the directives usually used for
debugging.
Thanks anyway. and as said, it's gone now, I still don't know why. You are
probably right in the sense that it must have somehow prevented something
to be overwritten, but I'll be damned if I ever know what !
