PE> I have a hidden file in the root directory of my C drive called PE> 386SPART.PAR. It's not an insignificant amount of hard disk PE> space to be using up! Can I delete it (I can't remember seeing PE> it there before). It's your Windows permanent swap file. Even old pensioners know that. If you erase it, Windows will keep telling you that it is corrupt, and will make you a brand-new one. Go into Windows, and tell it you don't want a permanent swap file... unless you do, in which case tell it what size you want. Windows wants to make it use half your disk, but 3Mb is plenty, and Peter Neilsen doesn't use any at all. I thought you were running OS/2.
