Kevin, Mel London has a handy book, "Breaking Into Video."  It has
lots of interviews with people who are working in the industrial /
corporate video field.  AV Video magazine is a useful reference about
this field as well.
The federal government considers Video Producer a GS-12 rank job,
because of the extensive amount of supervision, coordination and
planning, as well as technical knowledge, it requires.
