What Otto Ar-Kay wants everyone to believe is that the polls so far have
used the words "should be allowed." In fact, the polls I have
seen have asked if Imam Rauf and his Cordoba Project has the right to build
there and a large majority agrees they do while an equal majority then
answer that Rauf should build it elsewhere if he truly wants to build
bridges between cultures.

Insisting that it's merely a community center ignores the fact that a
mosque is a major part of the building.

What is evident about Otto Ar-Kay and his fellow travelers' support for the
Cordoba project Park 51 mosque is that Obama and many pundits on the left
have put their support behind it. They make noise about how anyone who
opposes Rauf's decision to build there must be a religious bigot or
pandering to religious bigots until several prominent Democrats have voiced
their opposition.

What I find hilariously hypocritical is that many, if not most of those now
supporting the mosque being built at Park 51 oppose Glenn Beck's 8-28
"Restoring Honor" rally at the Lincoln memorial. While Obama
administration members will be speaking at the anti-Beck rally put together
by Al Sharpton, Martin Luther King's niece will be speaking at Beck's
rally.
