As I've already said, France, Russia, and later China were the big Saddam
supporters. Those are 3 UN Security Council permanent member votes.

Your fantasies about the UN being able to stop the US from supporting
Saddam are ludicrous since the 3 UNSC members who most opposed the US
overthrow of Saddam were supporting him long before the US decided to
overthrow him. The USSR and France have been selling Saddam arms for
decades. But you drag the US into it while seemingly oblivious to the real
score.
