That's probably true, but then I'm not a vintage freak.  It's my personal 
opinion that they're building better guitars now than ever.  I grew up with 
"vintage" equipment when it was new.  Most of it was crap.  It's long been my 
contention that nobody can tell which is a vintage guitar by listening to a 
recording.  And the new ones sure play better.
