Hi Teresa!
-=> Quoting Teresa Herman to All <=-
TH> I just had to take a few minutes and post something. I just now
TH> finished up a tree skirt for this coming Christmas for our tree. My
Congratulations! It sounds lovely and I know you'll treasure it
more because you did it yourself!

If all the users are like me, you might as well forget it! hehe
So far this week I've put the hem back in two pairs of Tom's pants,
sewn the cuff back on one of his white shirts, sewn on 3 buttons
to his shirts which had fallen off (with help I think!), and also
mended two pairs of my jeans and one nightgown -- the only one I
have left which wasn't beyond repair. Now maybe I can start on my
new nightgowns. I have a pattern and one old worn-out nightie to
use as a pattern also, since I like the style of that one very
well and couldn't find a pattern for one similar to it. Tom said
the sewing machine was going to be smoking but I doubt it! I'm
not that fast!
If I get those done so I have something to sleep in, I have the
pattern and fabric for a jumper, and then several patterns to help
use up the remnants of fabric I bought several years ago when they
were moving out of the old Wal-Mart into the new one, and had all
their remnants on sale. I got a lot of nice pieces of fabric and
some of them are pretty large, so...enough to make shorts or tops,
anyhow. I need some knocking around clothes for the summertime.
What will you be working on now that your tree skirt is done?
LadyBear Hugs,
Wendy
... There's more fabric than food in the house, she must be a quilter!
