I could try hacking the software in but why bother when I've the 32 bit Win 95 driver already at hand? As the Win 95 OEM CD is happy with current CD drive I'll go that way. Only hope the release I've got doesn't hang me up with a bunch of Netscape browser compatibility issues I used to hear so much about. Quick question. My board and BIOS support 4 EIDE drives 2 masters with one slave each. Should upon adding a second hard drive I move the CD-ROM from second master to slave putting the slower hard drive as master am I correct in assuming that IRQ 15 is shared by slave and master and only the hexidecimal address on the CD driver in config.sys need be changed for the CD drive to be propperly recognised? My intent is to keep Win 3.1 on the smaller and slower drive on the second IDE channel as master, slave the CD drive to that and put Win 95 and Linux on the new big drive on first IDE channel.
