JN> I'm calling a Wildcat BBS which allows me to enter JN> "!joe nicholson password" and takes me directly to JN> the QWK door. I enter "U" to upload a reply packet JN> if I have one. Otherwise, or after upoading, I enter JN> "D" and "G" and I have my QWK packet and am off in JN> less than 40 seconds. The "G" lets Wildcat hang up JN> after it downloads a QWK packet. JN> When I open the QWK packet in BlueWave, I can scan JN> to see if there are any new files I might want to JN> download next time I call (and the routinge above JN> would be slightly altered). Then I go to the message JN> section and can leisurely or hurriedly read depending JN> on my mood and schedule. JN> The only thing I can't do using BW on a QWK system is JN> add and delete message areas to scan. That has to be JN> done while on-line. I've written a script. I hit enter to start the session and select Y or N for each option I have in my script. I also have the script tell me what it just did and if it was successful or not. "Y" is the default, so normally I hit "ENTER" several times and finally "H" for hangup when I'm done. I have the script look for certain things, and so it only asks me to upload, for example, if there is a .REP packet available. Otherwise, that question will not appear. TTYL.
