I can echo Mark's experience here with my TP42.  I have used suspend 
(though rarely) so I can say it does work.  I too have everything except 
winmodem and bluetooth (what would I use it for anyway?).  I even am 
using dual head (lcd and external monitor acting as one large monitor) 
with SNAP 3.1.4.
