I'm finding that many people are allergic to cats, more than I
had realized. Two of my daughters are allergic to cats. For #3
daughter the allergy is deadly. It could kill her and almost
did when she was young. I've not had a dog or cat for over 30
years until my son left his cat with me for 'safe keeping'.

My mother raised a kitten and pup together and, as you say, the
dog would stalk as a cat and the cat would romp and play as a
dog. It was interesting to watch.

I have several of those including a heavy duty version from a
retired milling machine.

They look good but finding replacement bulbs is a pain and they
are expensive as little bulbs go.
