The T43 is listed as several supported models (2686-xxx, 2687-xxx,
2668-xxx, 2669-xxx) for OS/2. You are best to install the 1.2 Media
Refresh since that has the latest release of drivers and fixes.

I have a T42p and 1.2MR was the easiest install I have ever had of OS/2.
eCS installed and works fine with 2GB of RAM. Sound worked with the
UNIAUD, video with SNAP/SE, PCMCIA was autodetected as a T40 and that works
and USB 2.0 works. The Intel Pro 1000 was autodetected and works. I now
have the Intel 2200bg wireless working but that is only with the latest
GenMac release which is not included on the 1.2MR. At this point the only
things not working are Bluetooth and the crappy winmodem. I don't use
suspend so that may not work either, but APM works with powering down and
speedstep. Biggest hassle was shrinking xp to something reasonable, but I
eventually figured that out with Jan van Wijk's help. I've since upgraded
the drive to 100GB successfully using a USB enclosure to copy the existing
volumes.
