Talking of truffles - the fungus kind this time. Guess what we saw today? We
were at Brive Market for one of the "Foires Grasses" the markets where they
sell a lot of foie gras and carcasses etc. And there they were, all in a row
in their flat 'ats and jeweller's scales. Yup the truffle season has started
again. Fresh truffles at around 240F/100 gms. That works out at around $220 a
pound. I don't think I'll be getting much at that price, though I may get a
couple or so.

Coo, that could keep you out of mischief uploading that lot! Might even build
up some more access here, which would be nice.

Good grief, I hadn't thought much about that. I collect all sorts, really,
because I can never be sure what someone else will want. I've got over 3500
main dish recipes alone, for example, of which I might consider cooking and
trying perhaps 100. (apart from those I've typed in myself, of course).
Good to chat, and in case I don't see you here again, happy Christmas.
All the Best
Ian
