You can catch SIGTERM in any process.

Ctrl-C doesn't generate SIGTERM.  It generates SIGINT.  Due to a
"feature" of OS/2, SIGINT is sent to only one process in the session,
the process which most recently called DosSetSignalExceptionFocus.
