I've  had an MDC-FD73 for quite a few years now.  It came with
an NP-F330 battery and a BC-V615 charger.  I bought an
additional battery, an NP-F550 (which I  greatly prefer).  The
charger works with both batteries.

I really like the camera with one exception.  The viewing screen
tends to get scratched over time.  Also, I wish it had a
separate viewer that I could hold up to my eye because when
light comes over my shoulder it often washes  out the picture 
on the view screen.  I also like the fact that it makes good use
 of all those  3.5" diskettes that I collected over the early
years of computing.
