AFAIK, there are none "in THIS country".  It is plainly stated in
Fidonet Policy (unless it's been changed in the rewrite :) that
there shall be -NO- propagation of illegal activities in a Fido
echo, and since our (all knowing, all seeing, all SNAFU) govt
has seen fit to classify 'pirate BC' as "illegal activity" I
doubt very very much if the powers that be on IFN will see it
any differently :(
I hope some good news comes out of these cases that are in our
courts (corrupt as they may be) regarding the suits brought against
a few 'MicroBroadcast' stations that have been busted in the recent
months.  Personally, I'm hoping that either the defendant wins, or
there is such a flap about it that the FCC (Ha!) takes a small chunk
of the radio spectrum and reallocates it for unlicensed MicroPower
Community BC stations.

Seems I saw something about mods for the 818 on the internet and I may
have something on one of my CDs'.  Will take a look at let you know
if I find what you're looking for.
I myself am looking for mods for the ATS303, that will allow access
to the small chunks inbetween the formal band edges.
