In a message dated 02-16-97, Mike Fisher said to David Noon about Coral 66 (was: Algol 68) Hi Mike, MF>Do you, by any chance, know of a CORAL 66 compiler for OS/2? CORAL 66?? Blimey, there is a blast from the past! That language was originally developed by ICI [yes, the chemical giant] many years ago. I used to be a mathematician (and programmer) with ICI in the 1970's and we had CORAL 66 implemented on all sorts of platforms. It was most ubiquitous on the PDP-11. I have not heard of any port to OS/2, but you might care to contact ICI Computer Services Division for a definitive answer. The last I knew they were based at Millbank in London, just along the Thames from Parliament. If they haven't ported it to OS/2, they should know if anybody else has.
