BTW, ever hear of dousing the mainsail by bringing it up
to the mast? I'm considering doing that, as raising the
main on the C-Lark requires getting a ball into a socket
at the top of the lift. I'm thinking it may allow me to
use it as a platform to pull up a crab pot without having
to mess with the system when I want to get underway again.
What I figure is that a loose outhaul may be easier to deal
with than an unset main...
