On or about 16 Jan 98 01:30:59, Joe Kotroczo did utter
Matsushita (was: Scratch equipment...) to Thom Kouwenhoven.
   Greetings Joe

TK>>> Yep....that's right....but nowadays the SL1200 are almost the only
TK>>> selected turntables by Pro's when it comes to use on the road....they
are
TK>>> strong and reliable....and offer a good soundreproduction
nevertheless...

JK> Well... I happen to know a couple of DJs that still use Vinyl. But
JK> good sound reproduction means nothing to them, all they do is ruin the
 JK> stylus'...
Isn't that why they use line contact styli? I know elliptical is a definite
blunder, but maybe it is a conical one that they should be looking for?
JK> On the road, turntables are only used for scratching. And scratching
JK> certainly has nothing to do with pro audio, more with noise.
JK> (Yes, yes, everybody flame me.)
Now way... Not me... Na-ah!
