On the contrary, he's helping make Starr's case.   As a government
employed agent of the Dufus Whine House, Blumenthal's activities are not
First Amendment issues, but probable violation of Federal law, and his
little press conference amounted to more of the same.

Not really - they've only managed to delay judgement.  Everything I see
Starr doing points to his putting together a detailed and strong case of
perjury, suborning perjury, obstruction of justice, and abuse of power
that has gone on since before Whitewater and continues to the present
day.
