Beware of USB attached Card readers however - if the card reader isn't
OS/2 compatible, you're no better off than using USB direct from the
camera. I ent down this road "to be safe" only to find the
"Radio Shack"
combined USB memory key and SD card reader, worked fine as a USB
external storage device but I can't even see the card reader ! As it
turned out, the camera I bought, although not listed on OS2WARP.BE at
the time, worked perfectly over the USB connection. It's a cheap
"emprex" camera and I have reported it's operation back to os2warp.be
and it's now in the database. If your camera also works without problems
over USB please ensure you also inform Jonas at os2warp.be so that he
can add it into the "working" list. A few manufacturers use their own
proprietry protocol, however most new and cheaper cameras seem to adhere
to standard connections, meaning they generally work with OS/2 thank
goodness.

Cheers/2

Ed.
