Apparently it is a real "gov" domain, in that it is a website of
republicans who are in congress. They grabbed the domain name back in the
Clinton administration. A lot of the stories there seem to be links to
stories that someone has on their "house.gov" website. It gives them a
central place to try to coordinate their positions. Maybe the democrats
should have tried to coordinate THEIR positions better, back before their
health care plan got ripped apart by blue-dog democrats.
