I would have loved the ad too if it had shown the old Indian way of dealing with
buffalo, i.e. shooting arrows into them or driving them off cliffs or the
white buffalo hunters who used them as target practice. It would have
really been amusing to see the cats in the ad handled in that fashion.

Dog fanciers would have been ecstatic, jumping out of their chairs and
cheering wildly. A roar of  amusement and approval would have emanated from
every house up and down every street in the good ole US of A with cat
lovers cringing in fear behind locked doors. American manhood would once
again have been demonstrated and vindicated right there on TV!
